Prior to founding JDK HOUSING, Joel Kelderman was Managing Partner of LFK Group, LLC, a proprietary trading firm based in Chicago. Joel has a risk management background. As a futures trader from 1999-2016, he successfully and profitably managed risk through market euphoria and panic. Growing up in Grand Rapids, Joel was constantly exposed to real estate investing from his father and extended family. Joel has been personally investing in real estate in Michigan since 2003. He founded JDK HOUSING to meet market demands for real estate financing that were not being met at all, or were being met in unhelpful ways.
